At 8 lbs and 21 inches, this little bundle of joy stole our hearts right from the start. She's already a daddy's girl, following his voice, staring at his face when he talks to her. Nothing makes me happier than watching my husband hold her and watching her eyes light up.
We stayed for two nights in the hospital and then came home where the dogs greeted us in the kitchen. Madeline doesn't seem to be too bothered by the addition. Cole, on the other hand is still very curious and maybe a tad protective over this little girl.
Harper has a healthy appetite. Once I started nursing, she gained 9 ounces in two days.
Some of my favorite pictures are of her yawning. Why does a baby's yawn make me smile? It's just so darn cute!
Mommy's angel with red hair and blue eyes just like her daddy. She also has his feet (poor baby), those are NOT my toes...all Jim's!!
Happy girl! Happy momma! Very happy family!
